This is pretty much the only metal mason jar I could find with something close to a standard threading. Close, but not exact. I’ve tried to use this with a mason jar lid attachment with a thicker base (that works fine on traditional ball mason jars), and the threads are very finicky to align, resulting in frequent leaks. But otherwise, I like the color and it seems well made. I just wish the threads were exactly the same as on glass mason jars.
