Sustainable Fabrics & Materials

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

Organic Cotton

Organic Cotton is a safe sustainable fabrication for kids because it is grown without harmful chemicals. Not only is organic safer for little ones than conventional cotton, but it can also reduce water pollution from pesticides which protects both the ecosystems and the people that depend on the local water supply.

TENCEL™ Modal

TENCEL Modal fibers are made of renewable raw wood and harvested by the Forest Stewardship Council which is dedicated to responsible forestry. The fibers are certified biodegradable and compostable which means they can also be returned to nature.

WOOD

Wood is one of our favorite renewable materials for kids toys because it can be grown and harvested multiple times. It can also be recycled and turned into new products indefinitely, unlike plastic which can only be recycled 1-2 times.

RECYCLED MATERIALS

Using recycled materials helps to reduce pollution of ecosystems and conserves natural resources.

GLASS

Glass is a sustainable, 100% recycable material. It can be made into new glass over and over again without losing any of it's purity or quality. It is made with all natural elements, and therefore, doesn't leave any toxic chemicals behind.

SILICONE

Silicone is a very durable material and stands up against heat better than plastic. When silicone is burned, it returns to it's harmless ingredients, unlike plastic which releases toxic chemicals.

REPREVE

Repreve is made of 100% recycled materials including plastic bottles. Finding new life for recycled materials helps to preserve natural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and conserve water and energy.
